about us
The Latino Professionals Association recognizes that Latinos are excelling in many industries and career sectors – reflecting the growing diversity of our state population that contributes to overall growth in the workforce. The goal of the LPA is to embrace the needs of Latino professionals to develop leadership skills, advance their careers, engage in the community, and enhance their personal lives. The LPA empowers our members to builds on their professional capacity by providing programs and initiatives that create professional leaders, establish partnerships, promote community projects and encourages participation in social issues.

What We Do
We are Latinx and non-Latinx bound by a single purpose: to invest in Latinx Talent. We embrace the needs of Latinx professionals to develop leadership skills, advance their careers, engage in the community, and enhance their personal lives.

Facilitate mentorship programs pairing experienced professionals with emerging Latino talent to provide guidance, support, and career advice.

Advocate for the interests and rights of Latino professionals in the workplace, addressing issues such as diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Engage in outreach initiatives to support and empower Latino communities through volunteer work, educational programs, and partnerships with local organizations.

Host cultural events, celebrations, and activities that highlight the rich heritage and contributions of Latino professionals, fostering a sense of pride and belonging within the community.
Swing by on Thursday, May 9th and enjoy a cup of cafecito with our friends at Finca Coffee! Our board members will be serving coffee and Salvadorean quesadillas to LPA members and colegas from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
