Why we do what we do

Our Story

The Latino Professionals Association (LPA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit at the forefront of advancing Latino professionals, equipping them with the tools, resources, and networks to thrive in today’s economy. Founded in 2013 and becoming independent in 2016, we’ve built a strong, engaged community of 500+ members committed to career growth, leadership development, and community impact.

Latinos are one of the fastest-growing populations in Madison, yet they remain underrepresented in executive leadership, boardrooms, and key industries. LPA is working to change that. Through mentorship, professional development workshops, networking opportunities, and scholarships, we are creating pathways for Latinos to excel in their careers and contribute meaningfully to our community.

With over $500 million in community impact, we are more than an association—we are a movement. By supporting LPA, you invest in lasting impact, helping us expand, innovate, and build a future where Latino talent thrives
